As part of its commitment to expanding innovative lime technologies globally and supporting local industrial development, QualiCal is proud to announce a milestone project: the first Digital QualiCal Lime Kiln to be installed in India through its Licensee, Barad Consultancy Services.

The QualiCal Synthesis 400TPD lime kiln, to be established on the eastern coast of India by White ’n’ White Minerals Pvt Ltd, represents the largest installation ever undertaken by a merchant lime producer in the country.

Founded in 1995, White ’n’ White is a respected leader in mineral extraction, processing, and distribution — recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable practices.

This project also marks the successful activation of the Licensee Agreement signed between QualiCal and Barad Consultancy Services in January 2024, under the framework of the Indian Government’s “Make in India” and Atmanirbhar Bharat programs.

Through this partnership, QualiCal extends its engineering expertise, digital solutions, and sustainable kiln design philosophy to serve the fast-growing needs of the Indian lime industry.

Project Scope

• Design, Engineering, Know-how, and Licence provided by Barad Consultancy Services under QualiCal Licensee framework
• Supply of Key Equipment and Supervision Services for erection and commissioning
• Coal-Fired System by Carbotechnik (Germany) — the first and most advanced of its kind in the Indian lime sector

The ground-breaking ceremony took place on 8 May 2025, officially launching construction activities.

This project not only expands the reach of QualiCal’s Synthesis kiln technology but also reflects the company’s long-term strategy to enable local production, strengthen partnerships, and bring world-class lime solutions to regional markets.
