NANO: The Roadmap
The development roadmap of QualiCal NANO outlines the strategic plan for the evolution of our innovative lime and CO2 production technology.
NANO — #NEXTGENERATION LIME and CO2
The roadmap emphasizes our commitment to continuous innovation, sustainability, and industry transformation. It also highlights our plans for scaling up production, expanding market reach, and achieving our goal of revolutionizing the lime and CO2 industry.
NANO Lab
QualiCal built its first pilot plant in 2002, by Paul Scherrer Insitute (Swiss), demonstrating full calcination at controlled reactivity by means solar facilities and electricity. The pilot plant proved that it was technically feasible to produce lime in a NANO reactor.
NANO Prototypes
At QualiCal NANO, we’re building the first modular, flexible and decentralized lime and CO2 production kiln.
Fundraising
We’re currently in the process of raising €2.5M for the development of our prototypes with production capacities of 10 and 50 tons per day. Our goal is to commence commercialization by 2025.
Grants
Thanks to Technical and Commercial Partnerships we applied for EU Funding in order to support the engineering, manufacturing and testing of NANO Prototypes
“The QualiCal technology has the potential to enable the lime industries to efficiently capture their process emissions on an industrial scale. NANO pilot plant is one of several promising CO2 neutral technologies that we are currently testing at full speed within some industrial Partners” — Francesco Cella QualiCal CTO
